A guide to Alt X
Jacques Magliolo
2004
Genres: Business
In October 2003, the JSE securities exchange (in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry) launched an alternative exchange, called AltX. Based on the successes of a similar alternative exchange in London, and the result of four years of preparation, AltX is aimed at small and medium enterprises. Companies listed on the development capital market and the venture capital market will have to delist from the JSE and relist on AltX. In other words, all small- and medium-sized companies wishing to access funds from investors will have to be listed on AltX. This title outlines how to prepare for listing on AltX, how to list, and how to maintain growth after listing.
