This work follows Mozart's musical style and cleverly blends together, both in the vocal and piano parts, snippets of easily recognisable themes from his works . . . There is no doubt that the work should be performed tongue in cheek. It has humour and is fun and frivolous . . . This piece should add a wonderfully light-hearted moment to any concert programme but, for me, would make a perfect encore number. It is certainly worth looking at. * Music Teacher March 2001 *
