Set in Ulster and London in 1914, this is the story of two sisters fighting for their ideals. Sarah is a suffragette, determined to free Mrs Pankhurst. Deborah, her sister, is alone on an Irish estate, neglected by her husband. When Deborah hears Sarah needs her she travels to London to help.
