Dido is driving home to Islington late one rainy night after picking up a collection of books when she is forced off the road by an unseen driver. She puts it down to a malicious prank until the next day, when her father receives a threatening note, and when her shady, charming ex-husband turns up out of the blue. She know's she's in danger, but has no idea why . . .
