Lesothosaurus, a small dinosaur (the size of a duck) is sent back to earth in a time-warp to find out just who is messing with the bones of the ancestors'! Les is misdirected and lands up very far from the Ancestors' Bones - and his quest begins. He makes many friends (even of the Upright kind) and has some scary experiences. He meets the remarkable dragons of the Drakensberg, who all help Les to reach his destinatio, where he makes a wonderful discovery.
