Matt Mullican has created a personal symbolic system for defining the reality that surrounds him. Composed of signs, diagrams, pictograms and symbols. That Person’s Heaven, the largest work of art created by the artist, is a carpet-map that can be walked over and affect the way it is perceived. Walking on the work means entering his personal cosmos, experiencing a grid-like territory capable of interpreting every con­scious and unconscious aspect of human experience.  Text in English and Italian.
