Pete is a chipmunk who has moved to a new family and has no words for his feelings. Pete keeps on pooping, his parents keep on being there and helping him, confused and sad that all their love, support and help does not seem to help him to poop in the toilet. They wonder about his early life story and begin to understand what the poop is showing them. With help they coregulate Pete and he begins to trust and accept their help.
