Kate tries not to think about her sister's disloyalty; her brother Luke now takes her sister's place in her life. Luke is also a substitute father for Audrey, Kate's daughter. When Luke suddenly commits suicide, the whole family is forced to re-examine the deceptions that tore it apart.
