Rick and Corinne Scully and their kids have vacationed on Florida’s Captiva Island many times. To them it’s paradise on Earth, and this year they’ve brought along their best friends - first timers to the island. But this trip is different. The Scullys never expected the college spring breakers renting the house next door, or the hurricane that sweeps through the Gulf of Mexico halfway through their trip. They never knew about the military research being done at a nearby marine institute, or the test subjects that escaped in the midst of the hurricane. But in the aftermath of the storm, trying to salvage what’s left of their vacation . . . they’re going to learn.
