An eccentric old lady decides to re-edit the Gospels; a cantankerous old lady has an exchange of emails with her parish priest; another parish priest discourses on, and discovers, the nature of love, and later, has an unusual experience at a Carol Service. Apart from one brief excursion into the past, the setting for these and other tales is today's Church of England.
