A woman approaches Florida attorney Matthew Hope to find her husband, Jack, whom she wishes to sue for divorce. Soon afterwards Jack turns up dead - or is he? If he is still alive, who is the corpse in his bed and who are the cops who knew Jack and take an interest in his disappearance?
