There are rumours of cannibalism in Wine, so Special Investigator Ding Gou'er is dispatched in search of proof. He encounters Diamond Jin, the prime suspect, but a banquet held in Ding's honour turns surreal, so much so that he is no longer certain of the boundaries between reality and illusion.
