We are a queer book club that has been going since June 2024 and read a range of books by trans-inclusive queer authors or featuring queer narratives. We meet at our local library on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and are always open to new members from the LGBTQ+ community and allies joining us.

We'll read literature that has survived for centuries, from “Pride and Prejudice” to “Don Quixote”

SFH Book Club has been going for over 10 years, and we've read some amazing books over that time. We like books that can be read comfortably within a month, that have meaty themes that can sustain a discussion. We love books that take us to places that we've never been before. We just love books.

From Dover to the tips of Scotland, fiction shaped by contemporary Britain. We'll post a new book at the beginning of each month. Feel free to post discussions throughout the month until we have our final discussion thread on the 25th.

Want to read more titles by smaller authors? We're your group! We'll pick a new novel of a random genre each month by an independent author or independent publisher.
